meeting up with Marlon later tonight for a drink and get-together. good matey of mine leaving the country for a while. be safe man, a prayer for you always. we sure have come a long way. back from times when we were still lil' tots in blue shorts. it was at the fitness corner beside the field lah. the low wall where we had our first conversation. along with CH and Farhan.
the arguments we had, the cold war in sec 1. the wild moments at the jetty spent fishing and crabbing. slacking after school, and creating trouble generally for pretty much everyone. how we were all nerdy and geeky. not doing homework, the shouting matches, the house visits we had with the other geeks and tards. and how we were all so crazy about fishes back then. fighting bettas & arowanas.
we both sucked at maths back then. you got better, i got worse. 0/100 for me was even though i went for the paper. some other joker in class skipped the exam and got 0/100 as well. Mr. Teo loved me back then for that. then you were more mandarin inclined and i was english inclined. i got blamed for making you suck at mandarin in sec 2. i was having none of it. but great, we did get past the mandarin barrier at the big Os. woo, achievement man.
how we competed to see who would end up getting attached first(remember, i edged you by 2 months, HAHAHA).
then we both went to different polytechnics and didn't exactly remain as close as we were back in sec 1 & 2, but really i appreciate how we both have taken efforts to remain in contact lah. never thought we'll come so far. and have so much happen in between us.
all the memories just come flooding back. and it drew a smile on my face lah. ill miss it all, ill remember and treasure everything when i do leave for my studies after army.
