finally i landed my butt straight on my very comfy bed back in camp...
who would have actually thought tt i would have love my bunk bed so much..
but after sleeping in the jungle for 6 days with the same smelly wear and same soggy boots with foot rot going on like crazy inside, nothing just beats u sinking into ur own bed clean and dry.. =)
surprisingly, i still thought of miss brenner when i was in camp man..
these few days out in the jungle had save me time to think about a lot of stuff..
but not too much also la..most of it were those type of "what if" thoughts, just to waste my time away..but then most of the time i was too tired to even stand..
anyway...i would like to declare tt i love my parents alot..
hee
they always make the effort to have dinner with me before i book in, no matter how much they have to rush..i guess this effort beats them spending on expensive stuff on me.. coz i know they love me still. =)
but then again...having a good jap meal after 7 days of ration in the jungle absolutely sends u up beyond cloud 9. haha..i felt so overwhlemed with satisfaction when i laid on the chair with a full stomach of jap cuisine.. i swear i will get a jap buffet again before i go to taiwan.. hee..
Lt Haniff came to my trench and tok to us about a lot of stuff halfway thru when we were digging..
i think his experience far surpasses a lot of ppl...i really respect tt guy..
he was telling us tt in life, there are a lot of stuff that will happen, and most of the time, it will not turn out according to what we want..
and people will come and go just like tt..some people get too affected by it and dont move on..
at this point of time.. i was already thinking of raymond and some other people..
but he said..life still goes on...its all just part and parcel of life..
thus he said we shouldnt always be so easily emotionally attached to everything..
because he said tt young officers-to-bes like us would often try to rule things with our heart, not our brain..which should not be the case..
i felt this tinge of sadness when he told mi about his war stories..
i felt more enlightened after listening to what he had to say too..
i feel more matured now...lol
on a more serious note..
sometimes...i feel like giving up.. but thats nothing new..
sometimes, i see something more to grab..
but i dunno whether is it my own wishful thinkin, or issit never possible in the first place..
hmmm...this period of time has been by far my most challenging time of my life..
we shall see in a few months time ba =) =)
and yes..
i have long ago thought thru things..
i think i am happy again..
but one night i will just go the jetty and spend some emo private time with myself.. =)
if anyone has anything to get from taiwan, pls let me know asap man =)
till then lovelies, take care! *loves*
